Mr. V
Lead Nurse Instructor
Like thousands of young people, I began my educational journey with four years of college but was unable to complete my degree due to time constraints and family responsibilities. Over time, I discovered that vocational and career colleges could provide similar or identical programs to traditional Universities, but in a more accelerated format. For dedicated students, this path allows them to complete their education in less that half the time, which motivated me to continue pursing my goals.
For over 20 years, I have also devoted myself to volunteering with an international community service organization, where I worked to help families and individuals build resilience, improve their outlook on life, and connect with vital resources. I also served as a liaison with local hospital, creating partnership that strengthened community health. In 2010, I entered the healthcare as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and found deep fulfillment in helping patients heal physically and emotionally. I later advanced to Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), and five years later that, I earned my Career Technical Ed Certification, which allowed me to teach. For the past 8 years, I have been privileged to train aspiring CNAs & LVNs while continuing my own professional growth. I am currently halfway through my journey toward becoming a Registered Nurse (RN). It would be a true privilege to help the next generation of healthcare professionals begin their wonderful careers.
